Harley Davidson Sportster XL 1200

The current custom wave, in my opinion, is born in the custom and Cafe Racer scene. It is true that Cafe Racer have a different origin, but I personally consider them more adaptations to a function than complete transformations.

But custom is transformation. Often to incredible degrees and many times even little functional, the opposite of Cafe Racer builds.

Therefore, we could not miss a Harley Davidson power plant in our curriculum. And this 1989 Sportster XL1200 was our baptism in the major leagues. With a clear Japanese style, the best thing about this build is that it was not necessary to make a bunch of modifications to achieve the desired look. Front fork lowered, trimmed rear spurs, custom paint and raised stock Peanut tank, Supertrapp two-in-one exhaust and LowBrow Customs seat and air filter. The rear fender is the stock one pickling and matte varnished, and the handlebar - very narrow and somewhat raised - made to measure in stainless steel.

As the devil is in the details, made in Japan white grips, mini speedo side installed, new Honda brake pump and very small Led turn indicators replacing the stock ones. A simple but very effective transformation that leaves no one indifferent either.
